Ultrasound Unit
Our Ultrasound Unit is led by Dr. Heidi Taissoun Medical Radiologist.
Dr. Heidi is a specialist in Radiology and diagnostic imaging and today she is in charge of coordinating the ultrasound unit of the medical center where she performs general and maternal-fetal ultrasound. He has been part of our medical team since 2020.
He completed his undergraduate studies to obtain his medical degree from the University of Zulia (1996-2002). He completed his residency in Radiology at the Maracaibo University Hospital (2013-2016). In 2015, she was head of residents in her fourth year of graduate school and was recognized for academic excellence during her graduate program.
He is always updating himself in his area, he has participated in multiple medical congresses and courses related to radiology. He currently belongs to the Venezuelan Society of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (SOVERADI) and the Venezuelan Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (AVUM).
Dr. Taissoun has a particular interest in ultrasound as it is an accessible and non-invasive method that allows the prevention and diagnosis of multiple diseases. Our patients count on your presence and better disposition every day in the ultrasound unit.
